About
Hayley Rowat
I am a highly experienced chartered and state registered physiotherapist and fully trained Pilates instructor on both mat and equipment. I qualified from the University of Nottingham in 2006 with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy and spent the first 7 years working in the NHS covering all aspects of physiotherapy at one of London’s top teaching trusts. During my time in London I spent three seasons working in semi-professional rugby providing pitch-side physiotherapy and evening clinics. I then left the NHS setting to pursue a career in private practice. I spent two fabulous years working for APPI (The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) where I completed my Pilates training and ran the Pilates program at the All England Lawn Tennis Club in Wimbledon. After nine wonderful years in London I moved back home to Harrogate to get married and set up my own physiotherapy practice. I am based in the stunning village of North Rigton where I have been providing physiotherapy services and teaching Pilates since October 2016. Outside of work I am a proud Mum of two beautiful children. In my precious “free time” I play competitive tennis and try to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. I also love playing the piano.
